Ops-Box: Self-Service DevOps Platform
One DevOps management platform for infrastructure, applications, pipelines, and access. Your platform team encodes its standards once as templates; developers get what they need through self-service, and every request is delivered as a reviewed GitOps commit.
When Ops-Box Is Worth It
Days of waiting
Every environment, pipeline, or access request queues behind a few overloaded engineers.
Standards in people’s heads
When the engineers who know the rules leave, the rules leave with them.
No two teams alike
Different clouds, CI tools, and access models grow with every project.
Senior engineers on tickets
Your best people spend their days on repetitive requests instead of high-impact work.
Three Entry Points, One Governed Path
Internal Developer Platform
One project wizard creates the application with its infrastructure and pipeline. Templates carry your standards, and the AI assistant works on the same guardrails with the user’s own permissions.
Infrastructure as Code
Approved environments are published once; developers add resources only inside them. Provisioning runs in your estate with Crossplane, Terraform, or your own executor.
CI/CD
A wizard with a live preview generates the pipeline and commits it to a review branch. Security scanning by default, 30+ production templates, and optional DORA metrics per team.
Operations Built Into Ops-Box
- Kubernetes RBAC. Roles and bindings declared once and revoked automatically when temporary access expires.
- Kubernetes environments. Every deployment tracked with its owner, health, and lifetime; temporary environments expire on schedule.
- Scheduled jobs. CronJobs as governed resources, delivered to Git and restored when edited by hand.
- Cluster health. Heartbeat, status, and component versions of every connected cluster on one board.
How a Request Becomes a Commit
1. Templates
The platform team encodes its standards once.
2. Request
A developer asks through the wizard or in plain English.
3. Validation
The request is checked against your rules and RBAC.
4. Delivery
The result lands as a GitOps commit, applied by your own tools.
Ops-Box runs inside your own Kubernetes cluster on top of the tools you already use. Every change is versioned, auditable, and reversible, and nothing leaves your environment.
How to Start With Ops-Box
Technical demo
See a project go from an empty wizard to a running service, with the Git commits to prove it, tailored to your clusters and CI.
Pilot
One team, one workflow, one month: the fastest way to see the platform working in your own environment.
I built the Ops-Box website and platform UI: read the Ops-Box case study.
Ops-Box Questions
Does Ops-Box replace our CI or cloud tools?
No. It is a governance and self-service layer on top of the tools you already have: your Git, your clusters, and your CI.
Where does Ops-Box run?
Inside your own Kubernetes cluster. Every change stays in your environment and in your repositories.
Which clouds are supported?
Destination types for Crossplane on Azure and AWS are included, and you can bring your own executor, such as Terraform.
How do we start?
Describe your clusters, CI tools, and the workflow you want to fix first in the project brief. You receive a written proposal for a pilot with its scope and schedule.
Remove the DevOps Bottleneck
Start with a one-month pilot for one team and one workflow.
